Question

New England Clock
I would like to know if the wind up movement in this clock can be replaced. The only number found is #UW22/4. Any hlp would be appreciated.

Answer
No it can not be replaced. It can be easily repaired. Very simple time only German made Urgos movement and that is the Urgos number. Urgos quit making spring driven clocks 20+ years ago. Perhaps a quarts mechanism could be fitted (leaving a hole in the dial with nothing to wind) but it would be much nicer to repair the original mechanism.
