Clocks, Watches/ROYAL 8 DAY CLOCK

Question
I HAVE A ROUND CLOCK WITH A SQUARE BOX BACK FOR THE MOVEMENT. IN THE CENTER OF THE FACE IS A 2 1/2" DIA OPENED RECESS EXPOSING THE ESCAPEMENT. A FRIEND CALLED IT A PIN-PALLET LEVER ESCAPEMENT. IT HAS NO MAKERS NAMES OR STAMPINGS ONLY A LOGO OF A PYRAMID IN RED WITH A SMALLER INVERTED PYRAMID IN THE CENTER.  MY FRIEND THINKS IT A VERY UNUSUAL CLOCK AND HE ALSO THINKS IT TO BE OF ASIAN ORIGIN ~40'S. ON THE FACE IT SAYS ROYAL.
ANY HELP IDENTIFYING WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
THANKS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS,
GREGG BUNCH

Answer
I can't come up with any solid information on your clock. If you send me some photos I'll try to do better.
I can say that I'm not familiar with any Asian makers that use an open escapement movement. They are mostly American, French or German.
I have not been able to find anything on Royal or the double pyramid logos either.
