Question
My grandfather clock is about 15 years old, and now it gives us an extra chime for each hour.  For example, at 2 o'clock, it chimes 3 times!

Answer
Does your clock strike 13 times at 12:00?
If so, this could be an involved repair. If your clock strikes 1 at 12:00 it's as simple as pushing your hour hand back one hour. Then advance the minute hand one hour to the correct time.
