Clocks, Watches/Waterbury gingerbread "Cato" clock

Question
Mr. Perkins, My dad recently gave me a Waterbury clock which has a label on the back indentifying it as a "Cato". He got it from his dad, who in turn got it from an aunt back in the '40's. It hasn't run in years and some of the wood panels ("gingerbread panel") are loose. We are looking for a clock repair ship in our city, but would actually like to know more about the clock. When would it have been built, what would it have sold for when new? Are you able to supply this kind of information? This clock is not a "shelf" clock. It hangs on the wall. Dad has always referred to it as a "grandmother" clock. Thank you for your time.

Answer
Sorry, I am unable to locate any information upon the clock you describe.  If you would send me a digital picture of the clock the prospects of finding information would be greatly enhanced.  If you do send a picture(s) send them to my e-mail address.  <flashpowder@hotmail.com>  Include a measuring device in the picture, such as a yard stick.  Use Waterbury clock as subject of the e-mail.  Regards  WJP
P.S. Hanging Waterbury clock are much sought after.
