I have a elgin quartz anniversary clock,can you tell what an anniversary clock means about how old this one is?

Answer
Dear Shawn, These are also called 400 day clocks because the original wind up models could run for 400 days on a single winding. The idea was to have a clock that only needed winding once a year. To help you remember when to wind the clock it was suggested that you wind it on your anniversary.
If you want to keep with the tradition; you could change the battery on your anniversary.
