Question
I'm going to be moving a grandfather clock and have removed the weights. I now find out I should have marked which is which. I didn't. now what?

Answer
Presuming the clock is of the three weight variety the weights are hung thusly, as you face the clock, heaviest to your right, next heavy to the center and the third to the center.  If the clock is of the two weight variety the weights should be nearly equal so it does not matter which is hung where.  Regards WJP
