Question
what are the 3 keyholes for on the face of a tempus fugit grandfather clock for. I am curious because the clock has stopped.

Answer
Tempus fugit is the name of a dial style, it has nothing to do with the maker of the clock nor that of the movement.  Not knowing anything but dial style puts me at somewhat a disadvantage.  Presuming the most likely the 3 holes are for access to the winding arbors, which you need to turn with a key to wind the clocks mainsprings.  Regards WJP
