Question
I have made a mantle clock and it is not covered with anyting. My question is is there a way to keep the hands of the clock from bending when i mail it?

Answer
If it is battery operated, I would take the hands off and give the receiver instructions on putting them back on. This is very easy to do.
Otherwise, you can point all of the hands to the #12 on the face. Remove the battery so that the hands don't want to advance.
Then you can use pieces of foam to cover both sides of the face leaving the hands exposed in the center. The foam must be thick enough so that it is raised higher than the hands.
I hope this information is helpful to you.
