how many turns is suggest to wind the 31 day clock
my mom and dad got one form a friend and are afraid to wind it very much !!!!!!

wind the snot out of it! wind it till it stops. fear and arthritis are reasons clocks do not get wound enough to run properly- I have only had 3 springs break for me in 35 years of winding a lot of different clocks- watches are a lot easier to overwind and break something- a Korean 31 day will take about one 1/2 turn per day to wind the spring fully.
