Question
My parents have a grandfather clock (Ridgeway - Movement - GN 32570D). The strike occasionally keeps running.  I am hoping to find a picture of the movement to determine the strike control !  Any ideas where to look ?

Answer
The condition you describe is most often caused by dirt.  I suggest the clock be cleaned.  As far as pictures are concerned I have exploded view diagrams for many clock meovements.  If you will send me ALL the information stamped upon the clock movements back plate, it is possible I have one that would cover your parants clock.  If I do have one, I will need your e-mail address to transmit.  Regards WJP
