Question
I would like to know where do you oil the clock ?
Anywhere there is a hole that has a moving part?
As I bought this beautiful clock on ebay and it works  great but time to time it strikes on the hour then sometimes it strikes on the half hour the original hour time that it did not stike on and some times it srikes one time when previously it striked the number of the hour.
sometimes it doesn't stike on the hour time at all, thats why maybe it needs some lubrication as it has never been serviced since 1977 dang thats a long time.
Thanks for all your time in answering my questions

Answer
yes- front plate and back plate of the mechanism wherever a shaft comes through the brass plate and so little oil that you might not be able to see it.
Since Ebay did not exist in 1977, I am not sure how you know for sure it was not oiled many times?
May need adjustment of the lift levers on the front of the mechanism as well.
