Question
Hi, I just received a 1970 model emperor clock, but I do not know how to rewind it.  It has a pendulum behind 3 weights.  There are tabs on chains that appear to connect over gears or sprockets.  Do  I just pull on the tabs or is
there a special order or something?  I have waited more than 40 years to own a clock like this & want to do things properly.  Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Answer
pull the opposite end of the chain from the one the weight is hanging on- in any order. Do NOT try to lift the weight at the same time-just pull the chain down.
