Question
I need to know what the numbers mean on the back of clock to do more research on it, can you please help.

61
Franz Hermie
261-080 B

Answer
Hi Pam,
This is a Franz Hermle (manufacturer) movement. It is movement number 261-080B. Its date of manufacture is 1961. There should also be two other numbers below the movement number, one over the other, divided by a horizontal line. The top number is usually 23, 31 or 45. This is the pendulum length in centimeters. The number below the line is the beats per minute of the pendulum.
