Question I have a 17 jewel Helbros pocket watch. Inside the back case it says Star Watch Case Company. It also has "steular" engraved on the inside. It has a number on the inside also, it is 2361674. Can you tell me if the case is gold and/or if the watch is worth anything?

You will need to look for some mark indicating 14k or warranted for a certain number of years. For example, 25 years warranted means that the watch is gold filled and guaranteed not to wear through for 25 years.
Only 5% of watches were solid gold so there is a 95% chance it is not solid gold.
