Clocks, Watches/Hermle 340-020 movement balance wheel

Question
I'm a clockmaker wannabe, but I try not to do too much damage to the clocks I have.  I have a Howard Miller Mantle clock with a Hermle 340-020 movement in it.  I have tried to read my TimeTrax guide book to find out what the rate is but I must be reading it wrong.  I think the book says the balance wheel speed is 10,080 rph, but that doesn't seem to work.  Am I just reading it wrong or is the balance wheel so in need of cleaning that it just can't get going that fast?
Thanks, Paul.

Answer
I am unable to help you on this.  I do not recall the rph for the Hermle floating balance units nor can I find it listed anywhere.  During my years of servicing these clocks I found it far more efficient and cost effective to replace most Hermle movements with a new one.  The customer for sure ends up with a clock superior to when it was new and, generally, at a lesser cost than a repair job.  Sorry WJP
