Clocks, Watches/Winding my clock

Question
I have a wall clock that I have to wind every 30 or so days.  Does it make a difference if I wind the left side or the right side first?  It seems to run better if I wind the right side first.  Please let me know.  Thanks, Dianne

Answer
Hi Dianne,
It makes no difference which side you wind first. It is important, however, to wind the clock all the way as far as it will go every time you wind it. Also, 30-Day and 31-Day clocks will run more accurately if you wind them every two weeks, instead of once a month.
