Question
i have a bedforde railroad pocket watch made in switzerland, where can i find history of the company,or value of my time piece. my dad bought it when i was born 40 some years ago.

Answer
David,

Congratulations.  Sounds like a wonderful keepsake, just for the sentimental, milestone value.

I typically don't work with Swiss pocketwatches but I will try to find out something about the company.

As to the value, go to an antiques dealer who deals in watches.  He may be able to give you a good idea of the value.  Of course the greatest determining factor will be condition.

Kind regards,

Melvin
