Clocks, Watches/Clock only runs for a few hours

Question
QUESTION: I have a Howard Miller 613-153 wind-up wall clock with pendulum.  Over a year ago, I noticed that it would only run for maybe about six hours once it was wound.  Subsequently, it's more of a wall decor than it is a useful clock.  Is there anything I can check/do myself to get it back in proper working order?  Or would I need to take it somewhere to have it repaired?  It just started "acting up" one day...no real "warning."  It was originally purchased in 1989, and I bought it from friends about 13 years ago, and I've never done anything to it as far as maintenance goes.  Thanks for your help.

ANSWER: probably out of beat

try moving the bottom of the clock case left or right on the wall til the tick-tock sound sounds the most balanced and leave it at that angle and see if it doesn't run for a week---advise what you find

QUESTION: I've tried moving the clock every time it's stopped running, and it doesn't seem to work.  The longest it's managed to run has been approximately 14 hours, but that's the max.  Usually, it'll stop after about 8-10 hours; I move it again, but with no better results.  It has never sounded "most balanced" at one position as opposed to another.

Answer
If it runs for a few hours- it is not a balance issue. Take it to a repair facility for an estimate - 19 years is a typical run with no problems- a entire new movement should cost 300-400 dollars for a 3 winder Westminster chime Hermle movement installed.
A time only movement could be replaced for less. I do not know what type the 613-153 has.
