ANSWER: I am afraid you will have to settle upon a generic band.  I doubt very much that you ever be able to locate original stock.  If you seek a new band be sure to provide proper measurements.  If you don't know how to go about this let me know and I will try to help.  Sorry I can't help you more, regards WJP.

QUESTION: I am having trouble finding any one who has a band that will fit the watch. I have tried several jewelers in my area but none have a band that will fit. Where do you suggest I go to find a band?

Apparently I am not visualizing the right thing.  I can't imagine a jeweler being unable to come up with a watch band.  There must be something very unusual involved.  Could you send me a digital pic of your watch.  Perhaps with that in hand I can figure out a direction to send you.  Send to my e-mail address <flashpowder@hotmail.com>  Use Cousteau as your subject.  Regards WJP
