I have purchased a grandfather clock and am in the process of restoring it.  I would like some information regarding the age of this clock.   It has a brass face with the inscription In Weston  Wolsingham No 245.  The clock is rope driven in a pine cabinet, 6ft 6" high.

For me to help you I would need much more information than you have provided.  To do a proper job I would suggest you obtain a 3 day membership ($4.95) to Savage & Polite's Antique Clock Identification and Clock Guide.  <www.antiqueclockspriceguide.com>  You will have to spend some time and effort to get the available information, it will be well worth your while.  From what you have told me you have acquired a pretty old guy.  Enjoy him!  Regards WJP
