Clocks, Watches/Ingraham "Cayenne" mantel clock

Question
My mother recently gave me a Ingraham clock that my great grandparents gave my grandparents as a wedding present, I think in 1920.  It says Ingraham and by looking a pictures I think it is Cayenne model.  I would like to find out more about it, it still works but the instructions on back panel are very faded.  It really is a cool out clock and I remember it from my grandparents when I was a small child. Any history on this model and or more information would be appreciated.  Thanks!  Rick

Ingraham typically stamped the year of manufacture on the front brass plate of the mechanism- but you need to remove the mechanism to see it.

Google will tell some history - a paper label of the dial will give the EXACT name of the company - and since they changed their name several times it can help date it also. If the photo is correct they are called Black Mantle clocks and had a long period of popularity with all the makers trying to look like the expensive French black marble and slate clocks 1880-1930.
