Question
I have a Verichron Regulator Westminster chime wall clock
We have lost the small screw which holds the minute handle on to the threaded post
where can I find a replacement

Answer
Hi Jurgen,

Hand nuts are available from clock supply houses like Timesavers, Merritts Antiques or Empire Clock. These nuts come in various assortments for different types of clocks, and for both mechanical and quartz movements.

There are many different thread sizes, but if you get an assortment for your make of movement, you should be able to find ones that fit. To determine the maker of your movement, look on the back plate of the movement. If this is a mechanical movement, it will most likely be marked "Hermle", "Kieninger" or "UW" for Urgos.
