Question
The clock will not stop chiming. I can manually stop it by moving the lever, but I need a schematic to see what goes where and how it works. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure if I can help you on this. I just might have the exploded view (schematic) you might need. Send me your e-mail address and if I find it I will send it along. I also comend the following book to you that will provide you with instructions on how to do repairs on your clock. The Clock Repair Primer by Phillip E Balcomb. The section on Striking and Chiming is particulary good. Regards WJP

I will try to find the book you recommended as my wife loves this old clock that was her grandfather's. Over the years, much has been paid to keep it in working order. I would like to learn to care for it.
