Question
My Seth Thomas used to chime on the hour and as many chimes as the hour. Now it has started (I think when I changed the time once) chiming twice on the hour and once at half past. How do I get it to chime the same number of times as the hour again?

move the minute hand clockwise to 5 minutes after the hour WHILE it is striking the hour at half past. It will then be back to striking the `1/2 at 6 and the hour at 12. Move the short hand (hour) to agree with the number of bongs it does on the hour and reset the correct time as usual (waiting for each sequence to finish as you move the hands to the correct time)
