Question
We inherited this clock with no instructions.  The movement says tochigi tokei co ltd.  Looking left to right we have a AUTO ON or OFF switch, a Start or Set switch, 2 H buttons, 2 M buttons a test button below the H and M buttons, and a volume dial.  Then aboe the volume dial the dial to move the hands.  Can you help with any kind of programming instructions?

Answer
I do not repair these - but here is what you do

put on SET

put on  ON

move the hands to the next hour of the correct time from now

example 9:00 am

push the right H button (hour button)9 times and hear 9 beeps as you do this

you have now set the clock for  0 9 : 0 0  am

when the correct time is 9:00 am put the clock from SET to START

PM I think is set on a 24 hour system so if you wanted to try to set it to a correct time of 7:53pm, say you would have to do 19:53 or
beep the left H button once and the right H button 9 times and the left M button 5 times and the right M button 3 times and then START

whole lot easier to do an hourly am set up!

if you pull the battery out you got to reset everything again I think.
