QUESTION: I purchased the clock in April of 2007. It is made by Howard Miller, with three weights and three winders. The clock ran down, I re-set it, but got distracted by a phone call, and forgot to start the pendulum. Next time I went to set it, the chimes were incorrect.I can't figure out how to get the chimes and the time to coincide. Thanks, Mrs. Orsini

Answer
Unless the minute hand was removed - a one year old clock that was working properly has to be chiming properly on the quarter hours- only thing that could go wrong is the hour strike count might be off if someone moved the hour hand by mistake - just point it to agree with the clock's striking and set the time with the minute hand as usual--advise
