how can i get instructions from you to oil my cuckoo? i read the response about the drop on a sewing needle doing all the lubrication, but that all i learned.  also, can one use sewing machine oil?

There are kits available on the market that are geared for use by owners who wish to participate in the maintenance of their clocks.  I have not personally seen one of these kits but I have been advised by former peers that they are suitable for their purpose.  One such kit that I know of is obtainable on line and at some retail outlets.  It lists @ $14.95 and includes, instructions and lubricant.  I do not recommend sewing machine oil.  Should you opt to buy one of these kits, I would much appreciate your critique of the product.  Oh!  I forgot to provide the address. <howtorepairclocks.com/clock-oil.html>  Regards and I hope to hear from you, WJP
