Hello, I bought a Waltham (Tempus Fugit) 31 day chime. I got this jewel at an antique shop.. The weight's hanging are hollow so they must be for show, but when it chimes, it is only when the hand it's 6 no other? could you tell me how to fix it to chime on every 15 min.
can not be fixed as it was never made to chime on the quarter hour- it was made to strike on the hour only with maybe one bong at the half hour and the nut holding the minute hand came loose and someone put the hand back on pointing at 6 instead of 12 where it is suppose to point when it strike the hour. take it off and move it.
