Question

Ansonia 002
I bought this old clock in sale with no weights, I attached about, 29oz of fishing weght to clockside and 17oz to chime side and the clock apparently works. I cannot find any info on what the correct weight should be, any help would be much appreciated.

Answer
Goto Merritt's Antiques on-line catalog.  You will find exact replacements for your weights.  Your clock would take either 3 or 4 lbs on either side.  Talk to the folks at Merritt's, you will be pleased with the results.  <merritts.com>  Looks like a nice clock.  Regards WJP
