Question
I have a Schatz, 1950's, 400 day anniversary clock.
Can you give me any information on it, for servicing etc.
(it has an enamel dial, an old fashioned Gentleman & Lady facing away from each other, and black roman numerals).

Answer
Anniversary clock are both enduring and faithfull.  The biggest problem is getting them properly serviced.  In my opinion most clock repair persons should leave them alone, they do more harm than good.  My advice to you is to contact the Horolovar Company for reccomendations on whom to entrust your clock to, when the time comes for it to be serviced
