Clocks, Watches/Turtle Clock

Question
Please refer to an 8/9/07 question asked regarding a Turtle Clock made in West Germany.
I also own a old looking metal (not familiar with this metal)Turtle Alarm Clock made by BENTLEY and according to markings on back of clock "Made in West Germany".
It works, is a wind-up with one twister for alarm and one for clock....a smaller dial sets the alarm hand and a small dial sets the ornate hands of the clock.  A small push/pull stem sets or silents the Ring.
I find it unusual someone else has one...and wonder if you found out any more information on this clock. I have not found any other references to such a clock anywhere.  I can send pictures.  Thank You.

Answer
I was unable to locate any information on the Turtle clock.  I suggest you canvas your local area for a chapter of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.  These folks accumulate significant blocks of information.  As an example one such member in my area specialized in alarm clock and accumulated hundreds of clocks, pamphlets etc.  Unfortunately he died quite a few years ago.  There have to be others with similar interests.  It is certainly worth a try.  I just remembered his name, Campbell, he owned the local Chrysler, Plymouth dealership.  Sorry I cannot help you.  Regards WJP
