Question
I have a small pocket watch 14K Dial says Blair and Crawford Philadelphia  The movement also has Blair and Crawford Inside covef hasA.W.C. Co Where can I find out more info?
Sincerely
Barry Gurwitz

Answer
Barry,

This is what they call a private label watch.  That means that the company name is put on a watch that is manufactured by another company.  This was very common for jewelers to do in days past.
Tiffany and Co. does that now.  They do not manufacture their own watches.  They put their name on them only.

Blair and Crawford was most likely a jewelry store in Philadelphia.

Use a search for the company or check local records, if you have access.

Kind regards,

Melvin
