Clocks, Watches/replica watch

QuestionHello, Melvin.
Try to be short. I’m in the market for a replica wrist watches. There are people who want a replica because: 1 – don’t believe in expensive watch, 2 – have a copy for every day, 3 – have it as a chique. I’m in a second group. But, but … People who sell replicas believe they sell Swiss-made movements or know they are Chinese copy and sell it as Swiss made. Some clever sellers say they sell Swiss Eta 2836 Movement, and you just don’t believe in it. A question – where to buy a Swiss-made movement watch replica, please.

AnswerAllen,
The people who counterfeit anything are criminals. Your question is which criminal you should trust. I would suggest that you not trust any.
Please consider:
- That counterfeit products have been linked to funding terrorist activities. (Check this out for yourself).
-The quality is GREATLY inferior to the authentic item because the counterfeiters are out to make a quick buck only. You may be disappointed once you get the watch and the band is poorly made and in short order breaks or you have some other trouble with it. The expectation is that it should work “almost” as good as the real thing. Not true. Counterfeiters don't take pride in their craftsmanship.
People buy Swiss watches because of the high quality of them. Regardless of which company you buy, it will likely last you a lifetime.
-And where do you take a fake when it breaks? No watchmaker that I know will work on a replica. It would be illegal for them to do so and they won't take the risk for the reward of one repair. So if it breaks, you are out of luck.
-A gentleman I know told me that he always wanted a Rolex. His mother could not afford one, though. She was a factory worker. She took a part time second job for his senior year of school and bought him one for his graduation. The point is that with a little effort, anyone can own an authentic, high quality Swiss watch.
Now days, you can buy a pre-owned watch and save a great deal vs. a brand new one. In many case it will look brand new.
In your case, you stated that you want a watch for everyday. If you were to buy an authentic watch, you can insure it for 1% of its value. For example, for a $5,000 watch, it would cost $50 to insure. If ANYTHING happens to it, it is covered. So you could rest easy wearing it every day.
Kind regards
