Question
i have a set thomas clock, I got at a flea market. I need to know how to wind it. I do have the key and when i move hands to 12 and 6 it gongs the right number of times but will not run more than 10 mins or so.  any help you can give me on  this subject would be very great  thanks for your time!

put the key in the holes and engage the square winding shaft and turn the key the direction the click ratchet will allow you to until you can not wind it any more. Need to know more about the clock to answer any more questions- table clock? wall clock --how old etc.....
