Question
dear william .can you help ive allways loved clocks and have fixed a few. most of witch have needed miner things doing. have just repeard the winding spring witch keped slipping.as this is a hobby of mine ive made the mistake of not makeing a list of were things go. is there anyway i can get a pitcher of the works on this clock thankyou

Answer
I am sorry.  Although I have collected exploded views of many clock movements I do not have a single listing for "wurtemburg".  Now is as good a time as any for you to start accumulating your own file.  If you ever had mechanical drawing you would have a leg up.  With each new clock you aquire or service make a drawing of the movement in an exploded view format.  Give particular attention to what is called the time and chime works.  That's where we all have the most problems.
Should you be in a situation where you can't seem to get the works back together, send me digital pictures showing the problem.  Perhaps I could get you back on track.  Send pics to my e-mail address <flashpowder@hotmail.com>  Use subject Wurtemburg Clock.
