Clocks, Watches/Adjusting speed of Hermle Clock Movement

Question
Hi

I hope you can help. I have just got a clock that has a Hermle movement (stamped B FhS 340-020). It is running fast. I have posted on a website and got a reply about adjusting the spider. I cannot for the life of me find it at the top of the balance wheel. All I can see above this is what looks like a flat coil spring that moves through a little gap hanging down from a plate that sits flat and to the left of this flat part is what looks like a screw. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Answer
Goto the following web site <http://home.earthlink.net~atmosman/earthftp.html>  From the resulting index search for and click on "Hermle floating balance"  This file shows how to adjust the beat and increase/decrease the speed of the Hermle floating balance.  Regards WJP
