Clocks, Watches/Ridgeway Grandfather is not chiming

Question
My husbands 50th birthday gift, a ridgeway grandfather clock stopped chiming.  It keeps perfect time and when I turn the minute hand as if to set it it clicks at the right places as if to chime, however there is no sound at all.  It has run for several days with no sound at all and we miss it!   We cannot find the owners manual.  Any ideas?

Answer
Hi BettieAnn,

Ridgeway has been purchased by Howard Miller. Try contacting their website at www.howardmiller.com/ . They can probably provide you with a manual for your clock, or for a very similar Howard Miller clock.  http://www.clockmasteronline.com
