QuestionHi, I have a Seth Thomas Banjo clock that I am missing the key to. It is model #E530 with a A208 movement. I know that the clock is cheap but I just think it is the cutest thing and really hope that you can help me find a source to obtain a key to wind it up. Thanking you in advance, Marie
AnswerI have been unable to find a listing for your movement so, cannot determine key requirement. My guess would be a size 5. To be sure take your clock to a jeweler and have him determine what the size requirement is. It's possible the jeweler could provide a key on the spot. Once you know the size you can go to an online clock materials catalog to find and acquire the key you need. The following firms sell to the public as well as to the trade. TimeSavers @ www.timesavers.com: Merritt's Antiques @ www.merritts.com: Ronell Clocks @ www.ronellclock.com. I can imagine how much you miss your clock and truely hope this will do it for you.
