Clocks, Watches/Cuckoo clock

Question
Four years ago, I bought a Schneider cuckoo clock. It strikes and chimes at the same time. Can this be adjusted to strike at a different time than the music?   I just recently bought a 2nd Schneider and the strike and chimes go in proper sequence.  Both are 8 day clocks. Thanks for your assistance.  Ed

Answer
the beginning of the cuckoo strike trips and "holds" the music box and when the last cuckoo strike occurs it is supposed to release the music to play. Sounds like it needs a very minor adjustment in the wires controlling the music box. It is a tricky internal adjustment that a pro could do while holding his breath but I cannot tell you or even myself how to fix it without looking at the back of the mechanism while it is striking to see what needs adjustment.
