Clocks, Watches/G. Becker Regulator Clock

QuestionI recently had my G. Becker clock cleaned and cable string replaced but the repair guy messed with the pendulum adjustment at the top of the place where the pendulum hangs. I have hung the clock and leveled it adjusted it so it strikes okay but when hanging the pendulum on it will only stay in tic for a couple of minutes and then stops. How do I adjust it to keep the tic and how do I make sure the adjustment wheels below the hanger are set right?
AnswerI suspect that in the rousting about of the clock the escapement has moved out of adjustment. The most common cause for this affliction is moving the clock about with its pendulum yet hung. Give the person who repaired the clock an opportunity to correct this fault. Without seeing the various parts in place, in the movement, I could not describe how you might care for the matter yourself. If you can't get local satisfaction send me some pictures of the back of your movement. If it comes to, this I will try to direct you in the picture taking. I do hope your clock repair person takes care of the matter for you. Regards WJP
P.S. The Gutav Becker Vienna regulators are my favorite clocks
