Clocks, Watches/Gilbert clock glass

Question
Hello Mr. Perkins, I purchased an antique (or very vintage) Gilbert mantle clock which unfortunately had just had the front glass piece broken out.  I was  wondering if you could help me find a place that specializes in replacement glass.  This clock had a victorian sort of gold etched swag curtain appearance.  I don't necessarily have to have the exact design but something similar.  I did keep all of the pieces so I can send emailed pictures of what it used to look like if that would help whomever. It is rectangular shaped with the top edges cut off in 45 degree angles to creat the somewhat rounded appearance.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks so much,  Virginia

Answer
goto <www.timesavers.com>  This will display the on-line catalog of Timesavers, a clockmakers supply house.  Search for clock glass.  If this doesnot help you, send me a picture of the broken glass.  Be sure to work a ruler into the picture, send to <flashpowder@hotmail.com>  Regards WJP
