Question

Helbros Watch
Regency by Helbros Ladies Quartz watch-yellow-RO1441-X1448     I am curious about this watch.  Have had it for several years, at least 10 years, won it at a Vegas sales convention.  Have never worn it.  Has been stored in orginal box.  Meant to have it adjusted to fit, but it is not a style that I would really wear, so I never have brought it in.  I suppose it had a battery in it, but do not remember ever changing it.  Your description of expertise says you do not give appraisals, but would you share any guess as to value on this watch?  Just curious.  Thank you.

It definitely has a battery if it is quartz.

If you plan on keeping it in working condition, you should have a battery put in it.  Keeping the parts moving and the lubrication spread out on all the parts is important.  

If you don't, the movment might not work when you eventually put a battery in it.

The value.  That is a tough one.  I would suggest looking at similar watches on ebay.  That is the best way to see what the watches are actually selling at, which is the market value.  You may be in the 30 to 50 dollar range.  You will need to look to know more closely.

And if someone really wants it, they might pay more.
