I recently read a posting on a website (http://en.allexperts.com/q/Clocks-Watches-1747/Japan-Movement-Cousteau-Society.h...) about a Jacques Cousteau Explorations watch with a Calypso logo on the back and you asked to see a copy of the watch. Well, I also have such a watch and the band has broken. I am trying to either find a replacement for the band or to find someone who would be interested in purchasing it. I have attached a copy of the watch for your information. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I did not see the photo.  If possible, please send it.  It might help me find out more information.

If you know who makes the watch, that will help hunt down a new band.

Getting a new band will be easier if you don't mind using a generic band as opposed to an original. (for original, you need to know who made the watch).

There is most certainly a market for it.  Take a look on ebay to see what similar watches are selling for.   That will give you an idea of what to expect.  

Ebay is the best place to sell.  If possible, don't sell it in the summer.  Prices go down because more people are interesting in outdoor activities than auctions during the summer.
