somehow my clocl has gotten 4 hours off when it should chime 6 oclock it chimes 10  tried moving hands to 10 but it chimes 1 can you help me?

You need to move only the hour hand to make this correction.  For example, your clock is at 6 o'clock, but has struck 10 times.  You grasp the hour hand only, and if the hand is friction fit to its shaft, move it to the 10 o'clock position.  This should correct the time-strike problem, but now the clock says 10 o"clock when it is actualy 6 o'clock.  You simply set the clock to the correct time in the normal manner.  Regards WJP
