Clocks, Watches/old pocket watch

Question
I found an old pocket watch that has a watch band bracelet so it was used as a wristwatch.  The open case reveals WADSWORTH REFEREE WARRENTEED for 20 years 4059496.F QUE WELTA.  It appears to be very old but I cannot find any information about this piece other than Wadsworth produced watch cases and placed various watches inside.

The watch band is patented and I traced the patent number to 1925.  Any information would be greatly appreciated. Diana

Answer
Ms. Diana,

Unfortunately, there is not much I can add.

Wadsworth was a case maker.  People would buy the movement and the case separately and the watchmaker would put them together.

If you can look at the movement and tell me what is written on it, i might be able to give you additional information.

Kind regards,

Melvin
