Clocks, Watches/re: replacing pendulum on Bundy Time Recorder

Question
The pendulum (leader) came off the antique grandmother clock style Bundy Time Recorder during a move. Is this simple to rehang? The clock is hanging on the wall and I can barely see what is up behind the clock face with a flashlight. I don't want to do any damage to the clock works by replacing the pendulum incorrectly. Can you offer any advice? Thank you.

Answer
Not being able to see your clock makes it difficult to suggest a remedy.  I am not familiar with a Bundy in a grandmother style case.  I would surmise that the movement is mounted on a seatboard, in which case you would loosen the movement from the seatboard and pull it straight out.  This would give you ready access to the pendulum hanger from whence you would hang the leader.  I know this could be a quite silly answer, but it is the only thing I can conjure up in my imagination.  If, as I suspect I have failed to hit the mark, send me a digital picture or two.  That could surely provide me with a more meaningful comprehension of the problem.  I await your pleasure.  WJP
