Question
Hi, I have a Ellesse watch 200m #1196115. It is missing the winder on the side. Is it worth it to have it repaired? Thanks, Kerry

Answer
Kerry,

Is it worth it is a very personal question.

I have had watches come in that I personally would not have thought
were worth it but the people insisted that it had great sentimental
value and they wanted it repaired no matter what the cost.

I have had people pay more than the original price to have a movement upgraded to a high quality watch.

the point is that the cost is less than the cost of replacement (most likely) but the sentimental value is the determining factor in
many cases.

To get it fixed will most likely cost less than $70.

Kind regards,

Melvin
