QuestionQUESTION: Hi My Name is Marie Hall I do not know how to find the parts i need or the name of them. we have a Ethan Allen grandfather clock the parts are tempus fugit we need the wooden part of the pendulum we also need the little plastic piece with the aluminum wires in it to make the pendulum swing back and forth we did have it working. It still has a very nice sound. and i hope you can help us with the parts. This is the info on the back of the clock. serial#012177 Dial AE Pattern 3802 movement E Thank You
ANSWER: suspension spring and pendulum stick? The numbers are Ethan Allens' and mean nothing to anyone else but the back brass plate of the mechanism itself will have some ID numbers that will help.
the wood stick is missing? broken? have you the round pendulum disk for the bottom? how wide is the stick and long if you have it? there is a short metal piece that hangs from the little plastic piece ( the suspension spring) that hooks on the suspension spring and that the top of the wood stick hooks on to the bottom of----you have that short metal piece (the pendulum leader)??
the suspension spring is easy and any clock shop or the internet has it but the other parts we really need the info off the back to be helpful and really need to know exactly what parts are missing.

QUESTION: Hi here is a picture of the clock parts I hope it will help.the pendulum has 3 parts to it, the other piece has the plastic piece on it at the top.
Thank You
Marie Hall
Answerlooks like you have all the parts. If you want a new wood stick - then:

you will need to put the threaded rating rod and nut in the bottom and remove and glue the top brass hanger on to the stick after you cut it to length as the old one - or just glue your old one back together?
