Question
I have an LFS clock and I'm trying to figure out when it was made (approximately of course).  Above the circle with LFS in it is the number D.R.P.No14212b below the circle is 4126.  Is there any place that would help me date this clock?

Thanks

Answer
Your clock was made by L. FURTWANGLER & SOHNE in Furtwangen Germany.  It would suspect the clock was made between 1836 and 1868 at which time the firm became UHRENFABRIK vormeals (former) L. FURTWANGLER & SOHNE.  There is also the possability that it was made between 1900 and 1918.  I favor the former.  I would have to see the clock to make a better judgement.  Pictures would suffice as an alternative.  Send any such pictures to my e-mail address <flashpowder@hotmail.com>  use LSF clock as subject.  Regards WJP
