Clocks, Watches/pendulum fell off

Question
The pendulum fell of my mother-in-law's floor clock. It is marked Ridgeway Div / Gravely Furn Co. #16214 and PL85. It appears the pendulum hooks on a metal piece and at the tip of that is a connector with a small thin piece of metal-short-attached to a small square connector with a little pin in it. The thin metal broke between the small square connectors with the pins. This clock, made in Germany, is at least thirty years old and I am trying to find someone in my area that can clean and get this going but I would like to find this part. I have no idea how to find out the name of these parts but I now have three clocks not running.I am trying to get into a position where I can get clocks repaired in my area but it is tough.  Thanks KBB

Answer
very popular part to break ---called a suspension spring - any clocks shop can sell you a replacement if you bring the parts in to measure.

you can buy direct if you want:
